So, I'm one of the early entry winner and I've got a PO notification from Microsoft. The problem is, the prize in the PO is not US$5,000 instead, its 5.000 in my local currency. Which is less than third of the actual prize.

I have contacted bunch of people but no result yet.

I am an early winner to. I send documents and film form in payment central but It is only in "Waiting for approval by Microsoft". Can you help me also?

Thanks for all your help. I contacted them as soon as you told me to but wasn't able to solve anything. I explained them the situation and got this reply;

The problem is that PO shows 5000 TRY instead of US$5000 equivalent of TRY which is more than triple of that.

 

Please forward me the email string you have with them and I'll see what I can do.

Wow so you guys have been sending invoices and stuff yet here I am with only an auto notification for 5000 TRY(not even USD) and been waiting for an answer for 5 days from 5 different person, no luck yet.

 

The big company proplems, many rules...

 

Been 6 days since I've got the last reply. I have got no instructions or anything either while people get their invoices approved somehow? I wasn't even able to submit an invoice, all I got is a purchase order auto notificatioon with a wrong prize amount without any instruction whatsoever.

 

Received payment in my bank account.

Onur, I understand and appreciate your frustration in this matter. We have been working on this issue and have communicated with you via email as updates have become available. As I mention in the last email, after some research we found out that the issue is on your end. I communicated to you yesterday that I am working to figure out how to have you fix your issue on your end. When I have clear directions from Payment Central, I will provide those and work to get you the prize money A.S.A.P. It would be greatly appreciated if you would continue communicating via our existing email string and not the forum as that pulls existing resources away from addressing your issue and helping other receive the payments as well. Thank you.

 

@ChrisAsleson I understand what you're saying but I do not think the issue is "on my end". I previously won another Microsoft competition, years ago. That's when my "account" were created and I had my USD payment succesfully. It was still in my local currency but via exchange rate applied to it so it was the correct amount. I also did not create that account, Microsoft did, years ago.

As you can see, other people got paid already while I was waiting a reply from multiple person about the issue.

Like I said, I understand what you're saying but just wanted to explain the situation. I will continue on the e-mail and not here.

Just wanted to chime in: I received the prize and am very happy, too, thanks to both Microsoft and Unity for the great contest =)

I received nothing for the moment.
But I submitted my idea 10th of June, I don't know if it was too late or not.
