    This is fabulous! I have been following for a long time and so glad you have submitted it. I love the way you combined the meshes with the terrain and it will be an excellent learning tool.

    Thanks so much for that! Sorry it took so long, I strayed away from it, that's for sure and I'm also having health issues that are slowing me down alot. I hope it can be useful but I wouldn't expect much from a free pack, just some basic things (what you see in the screenshots)! :D However, there's gonna be more updates to it as I work on it's pro version.

    Still waiting for a verdict with approval now...

    Free? I thought this was the NOT free pack. lol It looks great. Wasn't the free pack a separate thing?

    Right, well there are 2 packs, a free one and a pro version which I didn't finish. Because someone was begging me to keep working on it and it's been a year since I started this thread. I decided to upload what I have from the free version right now while I work on the pro, wich I didn't even started working on because I want to finish updates for this first.

    Oh right and it looks pretty similar, because I just baked the textures I made for the full pack in to lower poly versions. Basically I remade the free thing to look better almost like the good one. :)

    I still have a few things I didn't get to upload in it yet, like some more trees but they are too messed up so i need to rework them a little.I'm really bad at trees so I want to find a good tree workflow. As for the paid one, I should start working on it after I finish the update on my modular catacombs. My style changed a lot while I was making the update so I'll probably think of making it "AAA+" lol, and toss whatever I don't like in the free one, I just had this idea of making different cliff types under different weather conditions. Maybe I'll add all seasons to the to pro version.

    I hope you like the free pack, the models have been retopologized to be as low poly as possible and as promised I added the old project stuff in it. Some things were really bad and unsalvageable though.

    Well, I'll be taking my computer to the service and fix it which means that this is the next big pack when I'll start working!
    Will work on the pro version just as soon as I have a computer to work on.

    I'm back in the game with this pack after being gone for so long, at least for the time being. I'm not sure if I'll get to finish it till I get to Spain, seems I have a lot on my hands in my personal life. I started working on this pack as early as 2015, since then I improved with assets quality and Pbr. So what's new from here? I am remaking the textures and materials to be better for Pbr and am now using a better rendering in unity, hence I took the old versions in my free pack.



    For now I planned to add all seasons to the textures, trees/vegetation. water and a few 4k textures. This pack might possibly reach 2G!

    The new look will be more realistic.









    One last thing I need to mention is that these models have more poly compared to the free pack, also comes with LODs.

    Put them together, it does look away more realistic than before.






    Gonna make new tiles and new trees and vegetation later on.

    Thanks! There will be a lot of stuff, including seasonal variation and vegetation to.

    Still playing with unity render. This is the best I can do with the Unity "standards". I should work on the next assets now.

    There are plans for more weather versions but I'm not sure until I finish the basics. Summing up what I did so far it's already 270 mb in texture size.I just hope I don't get over 2G! I'll try to add as much things as I can do this pack. There will be vegetation to.

    On another note I made my first substance test by following a tutorial. Unfortunately I still can't use substance designer now so I'll work with what I have...

    this one had a more interesting shape and is more modular in its own right.

    3000poly/4000tri for LOD0 and lower poly count for the other LODs of course.

    And my final rock is done! Tomorrow I am finally making trees.
    So that makes it 6 modular rocks and 5 unique rocks, 11 models.

    Making trees is definitely difficult, especially when it's your first time. There are so many problems and questions I had to figure out. I'm searching for the best way to make well optimised and good looking AAA trees.

    Some test leaves on my tree:

    They'll be available in the pro pack around 40$. Not sure if I'll add anything more to the free pack but I might. I still have some old trees that I didn't add because they needed reconstruction but I might make those to eventually.

    Haven't posted for a while and for good reason, I'm researching and improving my tree workflow. I want to have the best tree!

    My second twig texture. It's a small detail so it doesn't have to be very detailed and realistic.

    You mean cave interior specific? Not for this pack but you gave me a good idea for a future cave specific pack! I'll just make a few tiles, trees and vegetation + details to this pack and it's done, I don't want to make it more expensive then I have to but perhaps I'll think about adding more modular cave parts. If not then in a future pack.

    Yeah I think a future separate modular cave interior pack would be cool. It could be a companion asset, and have a way to connect to the cave from this pack.

    Truly amazing work! I was searching high and low for a good cave entrance and suddenly I see this.
    I hope you do make some modular cave parts - if you do please let them work well for top-down "isometric" style games so they will also work without a roof - and with separate side meshes so it's possible to hide the walls obscuring the player.

    Well the mesh inside doesn't have a exterior part, the cave entrance is made out of the modular rocks I made above.

    Just want to announce that I shall be releasing soon the first version of the pro pack, sometime this month. I'll start at a low price because I didn't really finish the trees and vegetation. 25$ so far and 40$ final update (all trees and vegetation). For now I'm having issues with trees and I want to buy the best tree tool for unity to have AAA trees but there will be one tree included as a unity tree.

    Will finish the pack in about a few days and send for submission, then takes about 2 weeks depending on the Unity team.
