    Hi everyone,

I'm building a Unity Application for Windows which will be recording audio with the Microphone Class and do some stuff to it. I record 60 seconds, then stop and restart the process over and over again.
This application will run on an SSD Drive 24h per day.

In order not to crash the SSD I would like to know where Unity will chache the input data from my Microphone and the values of my FFT-analyzer?

I hope it's stored into my RAM (otherwhise maybe I can change the cache-path to an HDD Drive?).
I only found threats of people who are gaining to save Audio Clips to a harddrive and not to avoid this process. ;)
