Well there is a difference between "not too little" and "super-exaggerated-extra-high", and I seem to remember I was not the only one complaining about this new choice ;) About that page loading well for you, you must have a better computer than the oldish ones my lady or I use (I tested on both), but it would be better if a forum didn't have minimum system requirements.

I'm thinking it probably has more to do with browser than CPU; that page is perfectly fine on my iPad for example. If you're using an older browser, try upgrading it.

Always forgot to answer you Eric. I was and am using the latest Chrome on Windows 7. Issues remain (and by the way, long pages with images that load all at the same time, instead than using progressive loading, are well known to cause issues like that - depending on computers and connections).

I would like the neon cyan be a more pleasing muted aquamarine and the greys changed to similar to those nice slate blue shades, but possible muted, used in the Unity 5 splash screen.

Also, I feel the need to introduce a shade of burnt orange (like University of Texas) but can't find a place to use it without the pages becoming 'too busy'. Maybe the shades of burnt orange on the 90s error medium blue used on the page number and 'Go to First Unread' links.

And I'd still like the option to turn off Avatars.

Nope. Doesn't works in Firefox here, too.

Yeah, unity3d.com and answers.unity3d.com have favicons, but forum.unity3d.com currently does not. I would guess anyone who sees one for the forums is seeing a cached version (since it used to exist).

By the way, if this is fixed, it would be useful if the favicons for the forums and Answers could be different, since it makes looking through the browser history easier.

The page source still has the links, but they point to non-existent files:

    Code (csharp):
    1. <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://unity3d.com/resources/favicons/favicon.ico">
    2. <link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="http://unity3d.com/resources/favicons/favicon.png">

I can talk to the web team about this, but I'm not sure how high on their prio list this would be.

Sorry if this was brought up before, but why isn't there a visible login button, like in almost every other forum out there? Or did I just miss it?

This new trend of hiding all most important UI elements is really terrible and backwards. I absolutely hate the hidden, two-step search bar. You see this trend out there on a lot of sites like Netflix and web designers just blindly follow along without regard to the user experience.

    Hey!
    That's a BIG thumb's up! :)
If you mean the forum background color, I don't think it is editable, but maybe someone knows for sure.

Hi again, why people keep posting asset store stuff on showcase? Is that right? Or maybe it was there before splitting the two forums.
Also, it would be very nice an option when creating a new thread on showcase forum to select which platform the game is for and show the platform icons next to the thread title:

    Like TIG does...
