I have forgotten to mention : It's realtime mesh morphing. You can use any shader with it (in the demo above, I have used Hardsurface Shaders from Asset Store)

I read on a post that you upgraded the ( free for non commercial ) to ( Comepletely free with some limitations )

Is this true? Has the gods of poor indie developers shined light on the human race?

If so, then * sunglasses * YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yes, It's true. Currently, Free version have a two limits - the banner on application start and no procedural water generation.

Wow! Thank you so much for this, I will definetly use it!

and if I find a use for the procedural water generation I will be sure to purchase this!

Yes, fluid serfaces will work on any platform, but not everywhere in multithreaded mode.

And, yes, I will show this mesh blending when I find a good meshes for it.

What sort of meshes in particular are you after?
    Facial morphs for expressions?

Yipes that image above got my attention.

It's work with standart meshes now. Not with skinned mesh yet (but it's possible in the future).

Hey Neodrop... I am still working in Universe (it is here to stay), and during my experiments, I was trying to get my model a cube to move forward... it was successful, but it only moves forward when i tap the space bar... and i want it to keep moving forward until I release the button... is there another method that allows the translation to be continuous...? I tried the time nodes and it makes the model move forward without input...

Yes. FSM Activators is a short and easy way to do it. Remember : you can have as many FSM groups in a single graph as you need if you divide them into groups (using slash in state name) :

    Movement/Forward
    Movement/Backward
    Movement/Stay

    Key Pressed/ArrowUp
    Key Pressed/ArrowLeft
    Key Pressed/No one

    and so on.

I am using an FSM :) but trying to figure out where to connect the nodes so that he moves forward continously (my character walks in place right now).

hey neodrop, thanks for the feedback... I am using the FSM's, but I am using a Translate Do (Vector 3) and when I push the forward button, the animation plays, but the character shifts (I.e.: 1 unit) each time I tap the button... I need that motion to be continuous. :). I tried to use GetAxis (In my case DpadForward) and the node turned red :(

And for the transform variable, I am using the prefab of the character

EDIT: This is an AWESOME update...

Btw, the activator node gets lost in my graph because it is the same colour as the background of the graph...I would make the Activator node another colour :)

I'm trying to change the value of a variable (type rect) in objects, instantiated at runtime, from others.

If the object exists in the scene, it's easy to get a reference to it, simply by dragging from Hierarchy.
However, if the object is instantiated at runtime, I can't find the way.

Also, in order to establish a variable of another Universe graph with Local Variable->Set Value To, you need a link for Vizio Component destination.
We have Get This Vizio Component, but not Get Vizio Component for a GameObject other than This.

What I want to do is so simple that I'm sure I'm focusing wrong.
    Can you guide me?

    The specific question is:
How to set local variables of objects instantiated at runtime, from other objects?

You can "Find" and object by name.
Or you could put all your instantiated objects in an Array and find it there.

Or you could send a Message that an instantiated objected can receive (possibly with a variable so the object can decide for itself if the message is meant for them).

There is a Get Component for Vizio Component too!

    Hi Johny.
Indeed I can find any object by it's name.

Anyway, I still have the problem that, to access the local variable, before I must access the Vizio component that contains it.

Can you tell me where is the 'Get Component' for Vizio component type?
I tried the standard "Get Component" giving it an example of VizioComponent as a parameter, but it has not worked.

I think that a Message is not the most appropriate, because it is an operation that takes place each frame, so that I would like to make it the most optimized way possible.

    It's in fact easy!
However is needed to say that first you must to assign the type VizioComponent to the GetComponent node by dragging a VizioComponent variable over it. For that you need to drag some GameObject on the graph and then select it's VizioComponent.

Maybe would be more intuitive to select the type in a menu, one like the GetComponent node already shows in the Parameters OUT section, in the node inspector (even inviting to Select Type form) but is disabled, because it only shows the resulting type.

I would like to encourage you for complete the Description section in the node inspector, and the Open in browser reference, for all the nodes, specially the non tottaly obvious, like maybe this one.

I'm using Containers already, and they are really usefull.

Same applies to whole Universe by the way.
I'm using Antares Universe full time, and I must to say that I think I'll not to miss Quest3D…

I just want to ask you about an issue:

I'm seeing other visual programming environments have more presence in the AssetStore that Universe.

Do not know what it depends, but it seems unfair and a little disturbing.
I hope that you have much success with Universe, for your own good, but also way egoistic: If so, you can keep the product well attended and for a long time.

Both myself as well as, I suppose, other users, we are making Universe our main working tool, so is concernig the chance that for any reason, you can leave it unattended in the future.

What do you think about, both the Antares staff as other users?

    Glad to read that.
I guess my concern comes from my experience with Quest3D, which, after some good years, is virtually abandoned in recent years in favor of other projects of the company that manufactures it.

Still worth it to use Quest3D, though it was somewhat traumatic to have to make the decision to quit, in favor of Unity, a little over a year.

It's sure that Unity has more future, and if all goes well for you, I look forward to working with Unity-Verse a long time.

    Exactly!
It would be good to you investigate what is the reason that in the category of Visual Scripting in the Asset Store, and even on the web and Unity campaigns, they frequently mentioned uScript, not Universe. (At this very moment uScript is cover of the Asset Store…)
(All respect to uScript, which has very good things, but in my opinion Universe is clearly superior…)

May be, that because I'm alone now, but my competitors has a crew ?
Unfortunately, I have no time to make a well designed site and advertising. All my free time, I just have work to make the Universe as better as possible.
And, also, my English is not perfect, as you must be noticed.

Ideally would be economically profitable, and in any case, you might find volunteers among community for help, for example, with the website or documentation.
Can't believe you just do this great work. On the other hand, it should lead to greater profitability.
Apart from some detail, if English is not a problem for me, not for you…

The Universe for me is a great and dream Idea, but not only commercial product. I'm glad what some people find it convenient for their projects. In general, it's enough for me.
But also, I have some profit from Asset Store ;)

I think it has turned into most app stores where if you make the top 10, you will get "stuck" there forever, and it will be hard for others to break in. Playmaker is featured all the time in the store for some reason. They should do a better job at including others.

Antares is the best visual editor I have tried, yet it is 4th in Paid For (although it is more expensive).

Also, maybe a website design like this can help - http://itween.pixelplacement.com/examples.php. Very straight to the point, with very simple examples.
