BERLIN, Germany. (January 22, 2015) --- Mark Hessburg, in cooperation with the Technical Museum U 995 of the German Naval Association, today released „WOTA: U-Boat Compass“, a unique new type of compass app for iOS. "Yes, you could say it is a compass“ said Hessburg,"but primarily it is actually a fully functional virtual exhibition piece".

The app offers a working 3D simulation of a naval gyrocompass as used in german submarines during World War II. Situated in the center of a high resolution 360° spherical panorama of the command room of U 995 the compass can be looked at from any angle by turning the device. Of course the 3D model always keeps track of the current geographic direction while the user rotates the view and enjoys the high level of detail. Zooming in on the 3D model works up to the visible surface character of the tiniest screws. The compass, which is assisted by the device’s gyroscope, uses two rotating rings to display direction and offers a precision of up to 1/10 degree. An additional digital Rate of Turn and Angle of List indicator put the emphasis on the naval character of this app.

"WOTA: U-Boat Compass“ is the hybrid of a submarine simulation game and a museum ship. i wanted to share our game Card Crawl which is mainly made with TK2D.

Card Crawl is a Dungeon Crawler build around a modified deck of standard cards. The basic idea of the game is to clear the Dungeon (a fixed deck of 54 cards) without dying and as much gold as possible. The gameplay evolves around managing your limited inventory and health, by using equipment and special cards. Monsters and equipment cards are fixed, but each play trough you can use 5 special ability cards that can be chosen by the player (mini deck building). Different ability cards can be unlocked by spending the collected gold.

Here's my game, Memorius! Released it yesterday! Didn't get as much attention as I hoped it would.. I wasn't sure what to expect! I still got to figure out the whole Apple's process to put something on the market and I'm happy about that!

Fun fact: All objects in the scene are using the UI system that unity implemented @ 4.6.

It's basically a repeat-after-me game with 3 modes. If you decide to try it for whatever reason, well first of all, thank you very much, and secondly, pick up a pen and a paper and cheat your way through a score of 15 on hardmode to unlock nightmare. It's definitely worth playing nightmare a few rounds, I think so anyway!

At last, if you have any positive/negative feedback or if you think I should implement stuff differently, please share it! Thanks!
