Ah ah ah It reminds me of something i cant put my finger on.

    Really good pixel work!

Is it to be the good ol' arcade game style?

    Thank you :)

If you remember, please tell me :D
    Thanks :)
Kind of, a bit of a modern touch with the open world environment.

Haven't done much work, but i was working on getting the light post to look good, still some strange looking the top part, but the lighting looks good i think :D:

Shooting enemies with a sword is so Zelda...though in his defense, I think he's going for Quake.

    Either are acceptable, really.

Maybe, but then that will wreck the pixel density.

Ummm... what? I don't understand what you are saying.

...And before we get caught up on this point, don't get me wrong! LOTS of game characters have swords that are capable of projectile attacks.

You've got the most famous, Cloud Strife, who not only has the RPG prerequisites of spiky blond hair and a huge sword, but with the proper materia, his big sword - with no firearm mechanism mind you - can hit flying enemies out in the middle of the ocean, while preparing to resuscitate little girls (boss fight under Junon, Final Fantasy VII).

Another "honorable mention" is the immediate runner up, Squall Leonheart, whose sword is a gun...is a sword. Is a gun. Gunblade, that is! It's got a revolver for a hilt with a very short barrel. Given that it's intended as a melee weapon, it acts somewhat like a brass knucle for swords, but also enables Squall to 'melee' hit pesky flying robots and sorceresses!

Finally, there's always the hero of The Legend of Zelda, Link. Most of his swords (above the basic one you start with) are capable of a magical ranged attack that's good for clearing a part of the map of pesky moblins, octoroks, and keese!

Long made short? So what you made a gun that looks like a sword. Look how many epic game characters have swords that act like guns. It's about time someone reversed the trend!

And why shouldn't it be you? :)

Sorry for not replying for so long, I will try and make it a bit less sword like in the future, because the environment isn't a sword wielding style :p
    Thanks :D
Thank you, that is exactly what I am going for! :)

I know with chrome, that you have to click the shield icon in the URL on the right, and then 'load anyway'.

Sorry for no updates I've been playing Guild Wars 2 to much :p But I do bring some gad or bood news (Good bad news or bad good news, how ever you wish to see it (Like potato or potarto or is a receptacle half full or half empty)) I've decided to 100% remake and mostly re texture the whole game with a better plan and more unique graphics(More multiple plain sprites)

If anyone still has infinite download problems, try changing the url from https:// to http://, worked for me. Great looking game by the way.

In fear of my thread being closed you can look at this:

The whole world is 1 draw call using dynamic batching.

Yay! This is seems like a good project! Keep at it! I've been following since the start of the thread and I'd hate to see the project die.

    Cheers

    Thanks guys :)

This is a link to a fly around of the first level, it is going to be an underground lab built under an old mental asylum were they take patients who haven had visitors(Cause no one will know there gone) and make them into zombies(trying to make supersoldiers)... its inspired by the hive from resident evil and the place were they keep Magneto in one of the XMen movies, you are the closest they have got and reside in the glass chamber hovering in the center of the big room. I still need to do the lighting and add some props oh and I nearly forgot the colliders.

Oh and, if you find any faults with it please tell me, but I already know about the stairs coming though the wall(how very annoying!)

I downloaded and tried that. It's pretty awesome! That's one heck of a find, bro.

Maybe my next title - when I finally get done with my current project - will be sprite based ;)
