spam protection

Please, add some protection from spammers to unity connect!

At the moment I cannot do anything. I can't even deleting account.

 

I'm getting spammed too. No harassment protection is deplorable.

For some immediate relief (from email reminders), please go to the https://connect.unity.com/settings and change the frequency of "Email me when I receive a new message" to daily, weekly, or never to reduce the annoyance of spam.

there are two spam problems at the moment:

1) personal spam
can we block people or set to invitation only?

2) channel spam
you need to be able to flag and report messages & users, like we can on the forums.
also you need to be able to ignore users and their messages that appear in channels, like we can on the forums.

already the channels are full of people spamming. without such basic protection i dont see how Unity Connect can offer any value to the user as you wont be able to find anything you want there.
