Asset Store || Website || Forum || Documentation(Update 1/5/2017) Hi! It's been brought to my attention that Shader Sandwich doesn't work in the current version of Unity. I just have a few more features to finish before the next update comes out this month (which will obviously fix the bugs haha), but in the mean time feel free to email me your invoice number and I'll send you a beta build Also I tend not to visit this thread nearly enough, so please don't hesitate to email me at email@example.com if you have any questions . Hi everyone! This is my first time launching a product of any size, so hopefully I don't do anything wrong XD. After 3 rewrites and about 9 months, Shader Sandwich is complete! I'm fairly sure no one knows about it - I made a WIP thread but I stopped posting in it after a month - so here's a run down on what it is . Shader Sandwich is a layer based shader creator (Similar to image editors like Gimp or Photoshop) that was designed for people who don't care about the technical parts of shaders. For people who just want to make their game look great (like me before I started working on this haha)! It has an intuitive interface with lots of instant feedback which makes making shaders easy and fun . All shaders made with Shader Sandwich can be used and edited manually on computers without it. Spoiler: Some Features (From the Asset Store page) Some Features (Taken from the Asset Store Page): Image editor like interface (Layers, blending modes etc). Layers can display textures, cubemaps, gradients, real-time noise (Perlin and Cloud), vertex colors and a multitude of others. Layer effects that - for example - let you blur, hue-shift, convert height-maps to normal-maps and that's just the start. Easy to use base settings that let you choose from different lighting techniques (including Unity 5's PBR, and SSS approximations), and enable advanced effects like Parallax Occlusion Mapping and Shells. Transparency with the option to z-write in a variety of ways, allowing transparent objects to appear correct in image effects and not overlap as often. Inputs that let you make almost any setting editable in the material panel; link multiple settings to the same input, animate inputs and do a variety of other things to make your shader incredibly dynamic. Real-time 2D previews in the editor with no re-compile time, and another 3D previewer to get a more accurate look at your shader. If you have any suggestions, spot any mistakes, need help or come across any errors, feel free to comment about it either here or on the official forum . I'm hoping to update Shader Sandwich every couple of weeks, so bug fixes should come pretty quickly. Thanks .
