Selection Circle Projector

    I am using this tutorial, http://hyunkell.com/blog/rts-style-unit-selection-in-unity-5/ and it's good stuff with a little room for improvement. I am trying to get the selection circle to work, duplicating everything exactly as it is in the working example project, but I am getting this result:



    It does bend -kind of- into shape on a slope:



    Anyone have any theories here?

    Figured it out, needed to rotate the project at the ground, dur.

    @The-Britain If you're getting notifications for this thread, do you mind sharing what you mean by "rotate the project at the ground"? I'm having the same problem with the same tutorial. I'm a novice, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to change the angle of the projector.

    Nevermind. I had it on the object I was trying to highlight. It looks like it's better to put it on an empty game object (as a child of the one I'm highlighting) and rotate that object to face down. Thanks!
