    Thanks.
Technically devs aren't supposed to share that information, but it's common knowledge that Valve takes between a 25%-35% cut. :)

I'm not familiar with this. Can you explain why we can't? Seems a bit odd to me.

It's not a big deal, and I've seen devs straight-up tell people the percentage. I don't think Valve really cares at all anymore with all the new indie games being released, but as far as I'm aware the steamworks developer agreement says that information should be confidential.

This isn't exactly impressive graphically, but it's something I put together whilst learning Unity.

Train Station signs are randomly generated using place names from around Kent.

I'm not sure if I'll continue working on this, I've thought of ways to make this into a casual game (perhaps, remember which stations you visited, and identify the false one) but it's not the kind of game I would want to make or play.

If anyone is interested in trying out the random place name generator you can find an old version of it hosted here.

This week in Judgment: Apocalypse Survival Simulation, we're showing off our new minimap. Used a separate camera with layer masking, and a render texture to put it in the GUI.

    Full update in our Blog

    Minimap

    A new alert system

And new crouch animations when in cover

    Howdy,

Here are the Crates & Boxes shots.
These are just a few of the MANY shapes & sizes, all with or without the cool rope handles.
Open and closed ones, with lids and some nice pallets as well.
The shot with the barrels is to show scale in relation to other props.

Next is the Modular Wooden City Walls, they not far from done actually :);)

    Cheers

:) I'm slightly ahead of time since it's still 2 minutes until Saturday over here but anyways...

Doing some final touches on an achievment system I've written for my LBKR, that work together with the game statistics tracker to keep track of when an achievment is unlocked. ( Also possible to listen to triggered events. )

Some of my work in progress on dynamic volumetric shader based clouds for Sky Master ULTIMATE v3.4, with a special arrangement (custom emergent method) to allow for better control and non patterned look of cloudscapes. Local lights (e.g. lightning) and ground shadows are also enabled.

This is the SM2.0 variant of the system, the SM3.0 will also include realistic light scattering on the horizon and an extra texture control layer for even more variety and real time manipulation of clouds.
