    hey blueskined, dont waste your time or money, this kit is not ready for public release, the docs are tiny, and all the code is drown under the preparation for the add on battle pack, this dev needs to fix what he has before spending more time on making new packs, nearly a month in and still waiting on more docs, if there was a refund button i would have refunded weeks ago, i ended up buying the $400 pack, it is designed for 2d but is adaptable, and far more of a completed solution than this guys asset

    City building & battle perfect kit is under development now.

    I test more new features on CBPK now. those features will be updated by next update.
    - Pixel perfect camera panning and smooth pinch zoom.
    - Support perspective & othographic camera mode
    - Removable deco object (tree, plant)
    - Resource type add easily
    I plan to make new documents after those features are ready.

    i dont doubt that you are working hard on making this a great kit, and it has potential

    but for the money, it is lacking, alot, in its current state this kit is no where near complete,
    its a beta product, with a long way to go, its been a month since purchase, how many month must i wait untill i can actually use this kit?
    realisticly your early release has lost me as a customer, im not likely to buy your addon battle pack, im not likely to download your future updates,
    future perspective buyers of this pack need to be aware, before purchase, that this pack was built on the sole intention of monetizing addon assets, with redundant addon code deeply threaded, where for a city kit standalone, it is not needed and this product for the purpose of which it is ment to achieve has suffered,

    its a 3 star asset that needs alot of work either by customer(lack of docs makes this really hard)
    or a lot of updating by the dev(which when someone pays for an asset they shouldnt be waiting months for it to be usable)

    Do not blame the developers too much
    You know what Asset Store revenue is not much

    I am happy with this asset.. I look forward to the update of the developer
    Please do not drive out the developer
    I purchased a lot of assets
    Many developers have stopped their asset supporting
    Because it did not make much money

    This asset is cheap considering full Implemented functions

    The developer has clearly offer demo.. Update is optional

    @thedreamer i agree that this pack will be great, but it feels rushed, the dev should have implemented way more, tidied off his code, put up more doc etc, it was released too early, they should have waited untill the product was ready, this would make happy customers, with great reviews, releasing half built S*** too early is the reason the asset store sucks, i cannot get my money back, i have supported the developer and his project, but i should not be out of pocket for an unuseable product, nor should any future potential customers, if there were a refund avenue i would get my money back and forget about it, but since im out of pocket, and wasted a week looking to work out his source, i feel it my duty to hold the dev accountable and warn people of what they are purchasing,if the dev discontinues support its not my issue, i have already moved on to a different asset, if this asset stays supported, and gets some updates i may have another look, but for now, its halfbaked

    I'm sorry. the unit attack feature is in the middle of development now.
    I try to making good performance and smooth movement for units movement.

    I will request the review to asset store team with in a week.
    I will post update list soon.
    WIP video's of battle feature will be shown soon.

    The 'City Building + Battle Perfect Kit' has all the features in 'City Building Perfect Kit' and additional Battle features.
    Users who already purchased 'City Building Perfect Kit' can upgrade to 'City Building + Battle Perfect Kit' by paying differences between prices of two products.

    Chemael, any update on the Battle Perfect Kit release timeframe? I am eagerly awaiting the release, mainly because I already like your CBPK, and the teaser video of BPK looks great! I will take it as is shown in the video! Does the BPK use A* or Unity's NavMesh for pathing?

    Sorry for the late update.
    I'm work hard to release BPK, but there are some issues should be completed before release.
    Unit's pathfinding was in progress. I tested several algorithm such as a*, flowfileds but not fixed yet.
    (I'm not consider of using Unity's nav mesh)

    Hi Chemael, I'm really liking where this asset is going. However, its looking very close to COC. Do you have any plans to gear it more towards an RTS game play. what I mean by that is allow for direct click and drag a unit or units and then click again for them to move to your preferred destination.

    Im an artist and have some great ideas on how to put this asset to use.

    Thank you for your opinion.
    Currently, 'CBPK' is aim to implement features of such as 'COC' or 'Boom Beach' style mobile RTS.
    If i have enough time later, i want to develop more traditional RTS features like your suggestion and etc(FOW, minimap , ...)
    but at present time, i'm focus on mobile RTS.

    thanks for the answer. i hope you have a good sell, please consider a low price
    how do you handle the network problems like disconnections ? do you trying to reconnect (that is necessary)?
    wich ui system you use ?
    how about the map ? because boom beach map isn't that good
    a clash of kings map would be better like : show all players on one big map and you can teleport with some gold to another place.

    Just wanna add me as another person really interested in this asset! Like everyones saying, it has alot of potential (Cuz its 3D.. compared to your 2D competitor).

    Really looking forward to the update, as the current version definitely doesnt feel ready yet.

    But otherwise... would like to ask how optimal will this be on mobile.... once the game reaches end game with a full 3D city?

    And how easy is it to add more buildings than the current existing template?

    Saw your MobileRTScam.... and i think that would be really cool to add to this Kit, since the game is 3D based!!
    (Something to make it standout from the typical COC view).

    Anyways... really excited for the upcoming update!

    Thank you for your interest in my asset.

    I think mobile performance of 'CBPK' is not bad even current version.
    But, if you have a plan to add more buildings with high polygon mesh & textures, you may think about the performance.
    Basically, batching is the most important part for performence.
    I recommend you to combine textures to big one texture. and use same material(shader) for that.

    Next version of 'CBPK' use xml datafile for building definition too.
    But i will make more detailed document & video tutorial for that.

    Thank you for the good word for MobileRTSCam.
    The MobileRTSCam is in review now. and it will be included in 'CBPK' by next update.

    I'm upload 'City Building & Battle Perfect Kit' (CB&BPK) for review now.
    The review may takes 5~10 business day.

    Added Feature
    - camera control with touch input (pixel perfect camera panning, pinch zoom, rotate supported)
    (yes, Mobile RTS Camera was included - http://u3d.as/rmK)
    - 2 types of removable deco object(tree,cactus)
    - editor added (create & load, edit, save maps)
    - 3 types of attack unit(ground, air type)
    - training units in Barrack
    - 3 types of defense tower(minigun,missile,laser)
    - invasion to other(npc) city
    - deploy attack unit by touch ground
    - game result process (get plunder resource, consume deployed attack unit) - plunder resources
    - use war items while in battle (big missile, small missile pack)
    - unit movement by flock avoid algorithm
    - all bug fixed.

    server or network battle is not supported.
    Database.xml file format was changed. Backup your project before upgrade.

    Price
    the price of CB&BPK is 299$.
    the owner of 'city building perfect kit' (CBPK) can upgrade to the CB&BPK with 199$ price.

    Manual
    for the fast review, i included a draft manual to the asset.
    while in review, i will make detailed manual, and upload it to the dropbox.

    Be careful
    Before purchase this asset, i recommend you to test downloadable apk and see video & manual.
    This asset is not for beginner.

    Thanks for posting this update, Chemael. Looks great. I like the Troop Training Queue in the Barracks, the troops follow Army Camp when moved, Artillery/Barrage Weapons during battle, Health Bars on buildings and troops, Battle Summary screen with Loot Received/Troop Casualties. The Map Editor looks great too, which is a very nice addition. I see two sizes of clearable obstacles (1x1 and 2x2), which is great. This is a big improvement over the City Building Perfect Kit 1.0 that I have, and I will be upgrading to your new City Building and Battle Perfect Kit as soon as it becomes available in the store. Nice work, exactly what I needed.

    CB&BPK doesn't need online state.
    When user clicked battle button, CB&BPK load battle scene and load precreated(by editor) map.

    when i tap on ui some times it dosen't work !
    and the game is landscape but in wrong direction !!

    Hi, Someone asked me about WebGL platform support of 'CB&BPK'.

    The 'CB&BPK' itself was run well on WebGL platform.
    But, User Town data was saved at Application's persistentDatapath, 'CB&BPK' can't run properly on thoes platform. (unity can't write data in local path)
    So, if you want to run 'CB&BPK' on WebGL platform, you must change 4 functions.
    - Save & Load function in SceneTown.cs
    - LoadArmy & UpdateTownData function in SceneBattle.cs.

    Here is WebGL sample link.
    In this sample, i skipped those functions. so, Town state will not be saved.
    But you can see 'CB&BPK' runs well on WebGL platform.

    I found some times when load SceneTown, Unity Editor is not respond to my input.

    You created good asset, but it need some fixes and features to be called "compete project".

    If now tap to the button "Finish Training" the number of diamonds decreases. But the training of worriers will not be completed, because "all camp full".

    When battle is finished, game starts from the beginning. Progress and buildings will not be saved.
