Rejected for: "Message pop-up menu button is not executed"

    My submission got rejected for this error:
    --------------------------
    <Defect>
    Message pop-up menu button is not executed

    <Procedure>
    1. Execute application
    2. Play game > Receive a message > Click message pop-up button
    3. Check the screen

    <Expected Result>
    Message pop-up menu button should be executed
    --------------------------

    I thought the message pop-up is handle by the Tizen OS? Why does it has anything to do with my Unity game?

    That is interesting. We've never heard of this being an issue. However if you need to the menu button can be handled in Unity just like how it is for Android, the script API is the same.

    Hi Masterfalcon, I attached the screenshot of the bug here.
    The reviewer says that when they touch the buttons on the New Message popup, they does not respond.

    I don't have a Tizen device so I couldn't reproduce or test the bug. But I have never had to do this on Android or iOS. It just works by default.
    Could you show me a possible work around for this?

    Another bug I got is that Application.OpenURL does not work.
    I have a FB Like button that just uses Application.OpenURL(our facebook page) but it doesn't work on the reviewer's phone :(

    Hey g8minhquan

    You can test the game using Tizen emulator . You will get the device like experience or you could use Remote Test Lab by Samsung.
    Both options would give you the issue what Store is facing may be.

    Hi,
    did any one manage to solve this issue?
    I have exactly the same problem with certification. The description of problem is next:

    <Defect>
    Message pop-up menu button is not executed when Receive Message.
    [Test device] Z3/Z2/Z1

    <Procedure>
    1. Execute application.
    2. Play game > Receive SMS > Click SMS pop-up button
    3. Check the screen

    <Expected Result>
    Message pop-up menu button should be executed.

    I am using Unity 5.4.5p1.

    Same problem is report for 2 of my games. I can't really do anything about it. I guess that is Unity problem.

    @sukwon-suh do you know anything about this?

    I just tested simple project then it works fine with SMS.
    Would you please share your App id?

    Content ID on Tizen store is:
    000000095169

    I have use Unity 5.4.5p1 for this game. There may be the problem with that specific Z3 device used for testing.
    This is not my first game that is turned down for this same reason.

    It looks Z3 firmware bug.
    Alternatively, you can skip Z3 device on the TIZEN STORE.

    I want to apply for incentive program so because of that, I can really afford to skip Z3 device.
    Is there any other way to solve this issue?

    @sukwon-suh can you please tell us is there any progress on this issue?
    In my opinion this is not crucial error, and because this is an issue with Z3 firmware I think that this should be just a warning. They should not decline Unity apps on all Z3 devices just because of this minor issue.

    Dear All,
    Would you please re-register apps on the STORE again?
    QA team will not reject application anymore as this unresponsive message popup on Z3.

    I just got my app rejected for the same reason and on all devices not just z3?

    I found root cause why your app was rejected. It depends on device orientation and it is message pop up problem on orientation [Landscape Left].
    I explained current status to QA team, and they will not reject applicaitons with this reason anymore.

    And also you can fix this issue to use [Landscape Right] instead using Left.
    If you do this, your app avoid such a platform problem before releasing new binary.

    Can you please speak with QA team, because they are keep rejecting my Unity 5.4.5 game with this problem.
    I have send them link with this forum thread and with explanation that this problem is not something that I can solve, but it seams that they are not reading notice at all. My app ID is 000000098337 if you need it.
