Receiving gmail mails

    has anyone tried receiving gmail mails on android, i have been searching for days now. i saw some use smtp for sending but i do not know on how to receive since i am still new in this platform. My plan is to receive gmail mails and display it as notification then the user can see the content but there is no send or reply functionality
