procedurally animated first person fencing/platformer game

    a concept i've been wanting to experiment with for a while. the characters move and balance entirely with contracting limbs. i'd love to flesh out the mechanics as i have a lot of ideas in mind for this system.

    Name it totally accurate fencing simulator and release it as is lol

    I think you should release the system.

    this might be good for GangBeasts-type of games. I guess. the limbs can be covered by any skinned mesh, right(?)
    do the mechanics change with limb lengths?

    yes, the limbs are rigid body objects constrained with configurable joints so you could cover them with anything. i had some interesting results with scaling the characters proportions and that's probably where most of my enemy variety would come from.

    looks good, the walking style could be a little less clonky but first impressions are good
