This game is currently in early access. Please give feedback. Please do it here and on GameJolt/itch.io!

Pipe Dodge is an exciting arcade game.

    Summary:
Currently in the game, the player plays as a flying square with a personality. Players must move the square horizontally to go in between pipes to score points. If players bump into pipes, it is Game Over! Players get short breaks between waves, and the number of pipes in a wave increases as the number of waves increases.

    Control Overview:

    You play as a square.

Use the left arrow key to move
    left.

Use the right arrow key to move
    right.

Going inside pipes increases score (shown on
    top left hand corner).

Bumping into pipes results in Game Over!

Press Space before waves to start waves.

Looks like it could be fun if you made some tweaks to the controls and added some juicyness.
I like how the face changes when you're near the pipe, nice touch.

I feel like the controls should be more responsive, it seems like you have some acceleration and sliding before you stop. In my opinion this makes it difficult in the wrong way.

Another thing you could do is instead of killing the player as soon as they touch the pipe, just have the pipe push them off screen.
If they just hit the corner of the pipe then they'll have a short timeframe to correct themselves before being pushed off screen and killed. I understand if that's not what you're going for.

Also a particle effect or animation on death would be nice to see, rather than disappearing and getting "game over".

I didn't add any juiciness to the game yet because it is in early access. It is just a simple prototype. However, thank you for giving this great advice. I plan on using it in the final version of the game. :)
