(novice) What Texture Type' is Image or Graphic?

Frustrating as I am simply trying to create 'ON' or 'OFF' states for a Toggle Button.
Sprite2d is no problem, but what if I choose 'Graphic' or 'Image' as in this example https://forum.unity3d.com/threads/ugui-graphical-toggle-button.263591/.

What Texture Type would I use to convert my imported png in my Project folder? Nothing seems to work!

Graphic is the class all visual UI components extend.

Image is a UI component which displays a sprite.

You would import your png as a sprite, assign it to an Image component, then use that image component for your toggle.
