    I have the same problem. I have tried uninstalling, changing directories, nothing has worked.

    In the download assistant there's an option to install the different modules.

    It is checked, I even have the Facebook module's exe file and running it has no effect.

    There's no download assistant on Linux AFAIK.

    Going back to 5.6.2f1 is the only thing that would work for me. (I am on PC though)

    I have the same problem


    Update: Found what was the issue. I'm on mac and when I installed new Unity editor I picked just FB build target. and unchecked Windows Support. But FB target required windows as one of the options is a "game room". So I just reinstall Unity and checked FB + Window support

    We're currently not shipping the facebook module with the linux editor installers.
    We'll look into doing this.
