Mobile lightmapping appears to be broken?

    This threw me for a loop too. You have to go to Player Settings and change the color space from Gamma to Linear. That should return your light map brightness to normal. However, it looks like the linear color space has limited device compatibility which is not good (especially for Android since their are so many devices with different chipsets).

    Hopefully this is fixed before the final version of 5.5 comes out.

    Yeah I definitely don't want it Linear.

    Hey @Shizola,

    Have you actually tried to deploy the build to your target device? There is a known issue in Unity that emulation for mobile devices is wrong. So the preview on your PC might seem incorrect, however when you build it to the device, it should work as intended. Can you perhaps update us with that information please?
