Keyboard Shortcuts

I'd like to see more keyboard shortcuts of things such as toggling between Textures and Wireframe views,
locking the selected object on so clicking in the viewport doesn't highlight another object,
toggling Play mode, using my own shortcuts.
Being able to rotate the view in the Editor without a modifier key.
Plenty more I could name.

2 that are already there:

CMD-P to toggle play.... SHFT/CMD-P to pause
You can lock the Inspector.

 

Yes, I'd like to change the Play shortcut to use without the modifier (CTRL), what do you mean by "locking the Inspector"?

I found a previous thread on the subject after posting this one and learned of the voting area also.
