Is setting Drag on Rigidbody the same as dynamic friction on physics material?

Pretty simple, i.e. if I set the body drag as opposed to the physics material using friction would I get the same result? Are they both not a function of resistance to current velocity?

The real utility for myself personally would be to ask if angular drag would be a better measure to use instead of dynamic friction since I am using forces on spheres in my game.

    Thanks!
