    Like a Super product Super Affordable , Were you could join all your Crazy Works and creations together you have done so far in a Single Super Affordable UNITY 5 Foundation Package ... Were you could let yourself and your Experiences cut loose, and even receive monetary Support from the community ... every week at gumroad.

    And even get some developers Like FuzzyQuills Here on your side ... and working on your team ...

    It Should not be so much difficult for you to convert Absolutely all work done so far in unity 4 to UNITY 5 ...

    But you got to get serious and do a "joint product" with all your experiences ( All in one Framework )
    So that All your Scatered Efforts join in one "bigger Something" But still you can trow at it even more scatered works to make it more and more rich ... " as for example here the Fuzzyquills ( now abandonware ) IndieFx been doing ... And you Sow how much support and popularity he had around here ...

    You could do the same as this cool guy did with so much effort but alot better in this way im proposing ...

    SO in UNITY 5 You can go the other way around ...
    And even make a living out of it !

    Just Start Releasing All Your Weekly Experiences around ( directly in the assets store category here ) in a SINGLE Thread that you can use as Single HUB for all your products ,

    And start by Doing GUMROAD.com Deliverings Even on a "donation" based system ... Every week.

    And you will see how sudently what you do will start to become as supported and popular as what jove did .

    ( As Gumroad has this option were we put 0$+ or 2$+ or 5$+ And people can Donate Whatever they want "superior" to that price ... is Sure a Cool option to Start "pre selling" to Beta Testers your work .... even before it hits the assets store ... "not do it just for free" ... )

    And get the Support and entusiasm such master works Deserve Weekly !

    As well doing it the other way .. ( instead speading months refining whatever you are doing to a SuperPro level .. That sometimes even in years might not even happen ... ) And then Waith like weeks for asset store aprovals ...

    People will be happy to Have and support Imediatly the result of your experiences ...

    Were its just need your customers "Not register as european"
    and they dont pay the scandalous 20% vat ...

    Then You even have severall options ...
    For selling Both Major Releases as Weekly updates Independent even ...

    - At every New update you can trow even that update "again" as another donation based Product and receive again support for the hours of your work that week . if people Want updates sooner ...

    - Then Also Update the older Major product From time to time Were All Older Customers receive updates .. like a Common Store were people pay more for major 1.0 to 2.0 releases ...

    Then wenever you do those Major Releases ... you then Submith at Assets Store and profit even more ...
    But Also profit in every 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 Weekly Releases and Beta Wip updates you do to your "major"
    "INDIE SHADING FRAME WORK" ...Package ...

    Much People dont know this or use it ...

    They were all greath products ... But they all failed in one base common thing ...

    "Alot of talk" but lack of releases ...

    Even JOVE Development .. if you see well falled on that ..

    They talk here and then "Alot" about one cool development after the other ... that everyone is eagering and they are experimenting ... but then only after 6 months there is really the release at assets store of "that something" ...

    And all those 6 months they are there 2 or 3 developers working without earning absolutely nothing ..


    Wille things could be done this ( complete other way ) With this Gumroad.com Method ..
    Weekly Cheap Previews "pay what you want to get the update" Selling method .


    If you see is exactly what people as customers and supporters want ..
    Is That Wenever you have one week some more Experiences done ...

    Right at that Week RELEASE IT ! ... Even if full of bugs ... Who cares ...
    At gumroad they know they are paying ( whatever they want ) for the Alphas and betas ...

    ( People will be happy for the release / Will suport you more constantly with donations to just try it and play with it / you will get some small but constant and fine funding support / and even other developers will help you catch the bugs )

    And this can SURELY be done ...
    In the long road You can even get other Developers "reaaly interested in your development" and even wanting to try to join you and "your team" just because you are being Funded and having sucess and popularity ...

    I think this GumRoad Sellings method should be more difunded .

    I'm taking a guess you're still using 4.6? :) Either way, nice to see this get a last hurrah. :)

    I may be making a large post at a later date... with maybe the final 3.0 version i was going to release a while ago, but due to unity 5's new features, it's been kept back, possibly for forever and ever amen.

    The effects don't work fine. I used it in the main camera and the screen turned pink. What to do?

    Oh wow... someone's still using this? I'm surprised!

    In that case, I should probably warn you that due to the demise of unity 4.x, I won't be supporting this pack soon. In fact, I technically ended support a while ago, but because 3.0 was actually picking up before I stopped working on it, I am willing to make one last big release before officially ending support for this pack. (I also aim to fix any outstanding bugs in the pack itself)

    As for my webplayer demo, it probably won't run anymore... :D (Thanks, NPAPI, for ditching us!) the next release will be built to work in 4.6.x versions (and 4.7) and unity 5 with added acceleration. Again, I've heard feedback saying I should start something else, but due to this constant necroing, (I personally don't mind, it's a good indicator my pack's still alive!) I've held off until now.

    Anyway...
    What version of the pack did you download? the .unitypackage? (I apologize for it being out of date... :D) the GitHub .ZIP? Listing your system specs would help too, as I vaguely remember some of these being SM3.0 only.

    Hi, can you please help me? I followed your instructions in importing the packages to my assets folder. I extracted and when Unity 5 finished compiling the scripts, it crashed. I re-opened and saw that Unity said I had 2 libraries. I deleted the one from your zip file and Unity was able to run again. When i loaded up my project, Unity found errors in your scripts. namely the ones below. Please help me, i really want to use your scripts for my educational game about programming :(:(:(

    Does not work in Unity 5. Is an Image Effect package for users in the free edition of Unity 4.

    Actually it should work fine... :D I was able to open my working instance in unity 5 without issues.

    Ya, it looks like you're using the github version, of which gives you the latest updates, but doesn't have auto-config. (I could actually add an auto-config script now... :D) The unity package file has every dependency in each effect hard-set for you.

    That's also why I recommend the .unitypackage for initial installation, (In fact, that should be the way to do it, I should update the page... :D) then you use the GitHub download to update them to the latest improvements. (NOTE: I haven't tested this, so give me a yell if something goes wrong with this process!)

    Another notice is that I might actually finish IndieEffects 3.0, effectively making the github page obsolete. (Well, unless Eric2241 returns, and in which case, I'll push the changes there, and he can update the repo)

    One more thing; as soon as 3.0 is finished, that will be the official end of this pack, since Unity 5.x basically gave us what this pack aimed to achieve in previous versions anyway. I'm only keeping this around since unity 4.6 (now unity 4.7) is still used by a lot of the user base.

    I'm still here. If you want to you can push the changes there. Looking forwards to 3.0, although if you're on Unity 5.0 you should really use the included effects because 1. its free 2. Unity is finally updating the effects.

    Yup... That was actually what I was doing. On the other hand though... I do have a new bloom effect now, I can definitely toss that in. (It's possibly a bit too heavy for 4.6.x free, but it works beautifully on Unity 5)

    Another note too is that although I have definitely said there will be a last release, this probably won't be coming around until sometime in Feb. (I'm currently working on a Unity Dev contest entry, and don't have time yet to finish the fx. ;))

    EDIT: Also, 3.0 will be a split package; for those who for some reason like my fx better, I will have support for RenderTextures put in for 5.x users, that way some of my work doesn't go to waste. Still... for a pack I started while still in school, 3-4 years isn't that bad of a lifetime! :)

    Sounds awesome Fuzzy. Know you are busy and not sure how hard it would be but one thing I would love to see is the new tonemapping with adaptive properties. The older adaptive tonemapping effect is broken and is way too sensitive anyway. I like Unitys' new tonemapping but it would be so nice to have the transition effect between a low lit area and a bright one. Be cool if Unity will work on it themselves but in case not figured I would throw that out there.

    Do not remember his. Thinking of Unitys older tonemapping effect that is breaking. Any working adaptive effect would be awesome though.

    For me, tomorrow's probably a good time to properly clean it up. :)
    Also, an announcement I forgot to tell; I can now officially offer a proper C# port. :) the JS version will definitely stay, but now I won't have to maintain two separate versions anymore. And many thanks to those who offered to do C# when I didn't know it yet. :) (That, and two ports were made in that time and worked well)

    Hello All. I am trying to use this package, but I have a fairly odd need. I have a texture2d I would like to blur with this package. How would one take a texture2d apply the shader, and then get back out a texture2d. I would assume this is done with a RenderTexture, but I haven't been able to get it even close to working :(

    I don't think my pack would be able to do this, it was more designed to help people using unity 4.x get image effects in the free version, back when Unity Pro was the game engine people were wanting to buy, lol.

    If you PM me though, I can get something working today if you want. :)
