How to submit

    Hi Forum,

    i tested my game with my new Samsung UE32J5550 - it works well.
    Now i want to sell that game on tv, so i added it with this website: http://seller.samsungapps.com/tv/portal/main

    When it comes to Upload the game, it says: "please register tizen source file (WGT/TPK)"

    Was my way the right way for uploading?

    Hi Frank,
    Please upload your tv app file(XXX.zip) by selecting "SamsungSmart TV SDK".

    H i Jaehyun, thanks for answering! But i can't find that Option. Where can i select that? In the Samsung Apps TV Seller Office? Is it working for Tizen (the 15 zip). Thanks. Frank

    ps. do i need SamsungSmart TV SDK installed or Tizen SDK?

    I now tryed adding a new app in http://seller.samsungapps.com/tv/portal/main
    When i do that, it says:

    After July 1st, you can submit only applications developed in Samsung Tizen SDK.
    Applications developed in Samsung Smart TV SDK can be submitted only as a Version Update in 2013~2014 model groups.


    ps. is that Information you gave me also working with 2015 (Tizen)?

    I've asked this issue to Samsung.
    Samsung Seller Office only accept apps in 'Apps' category now.
    So, you can not submit your game by Samsung Seller Office website.
    Because Games category is not opened yet.
    But, you can contact to Samsung(games@samsung.com) directly and then get an authority to upload games app.

    thank you very very much!
    Meanwhile i wrote to game@samsung.com got the same answer and am waiting for authority. But i don't know if that will happen because my first game is maybe not the greatest.
    So i will switch back to Apple TV at first. I expected Samsung to be open accepting apps from everybody, so sad for the work i already put in.

    Hi. Interesting.

    Can anyone please explain the Samsung app market and how to get in on it? Do you need an approval for a game to appear in their App Store? What's their payment solution like? (I've never tried a Samsung smart tv). Is there any interest in games on this platform, compared to Apple TV for example?

    Samsung app market doesn't allow apps in game category yet.
    The only games approved by Samsung can be stayed on the market now.
    It seems Samsung is developing the market environment now.
    If you have questions about Samsung App store, it would be better to contact games@samsung.com.
