How to resize Unity 4.6 to fit my screen. I cannot see Min, max, exit, title, etc

I have searched google and tried search on this site, but every reference to fitting the screen seems to have to do with the games or end products. I thought this would be a simple issue. But I cannot find anywhere to make Unity fit the screen. What is more frustrating is that it is not at full screen as I can see slivers of screens behind it on the sides. I cannot click and grab the top to pull it down to then click the full screen button. Frustrating for such a simple issue.
