    Hello,

I have recently noticed the Overcooked game (made with Unity), and I can't help but admire the look and feel.

It is hard to describe what style it is, some says it's toon, but it certainly is NOT toon.

    1. Any ideas on how to achieve that kind of "color" and "feel"?
    2. What is this kind of style called?

    Thanks a lot :D

What do you mean it's not toon? I think you confuse many things:
    - The proportion, model and stylization are toonish
    - the lighting is not
    - the color are vibrant like in toon works

Toon as a style affect many parameter, but you don't have to hit all parameter to make toon.

You can probably get away with a really simple surface shader with half lambert or wrapped lighting, maybe some rim. I think the texture is pretty simple.

TLDR: get a good artist :p

    Wooah! That game looks cool.
Love the cartoony style of it too.
I like how the characters look, especially the cat looking creature
carrying that big juicy burger. Cute animations, characters and dust effects.
