How to create a 9-sliced sprite and use it on new gui

    I did the slice in the sprite editor and the different parts appear like in the image below, what am i missing (click to enlarge):

    You can now edit the sprite borders making it 9-slice directly from the advanced settings in the texture properties. Nice, I able to edit the original psd. Just set it to a sprite and select the edit sprite button to make the borders.

    You've sliced it to multiple sprites; set sprite mode to Single and then set up the borders in the sprite editor. :)

    Thanks that worked!

    I didn't know we had to edit the border values in single sprite mode:

    In multiple Sprites you can edit the Border Property, see attached image.!!! Slice9.PNG
