How Can I Make An Aiming (adsfor fps) With the animator controller.

How can I make an aim animation with unity animator controller? Im stuck on the transition from hip to aim part mostly because of playing shoot animation during the transition. I would also like to create my own transitions, not let the animator controller do that for me.

And is the animator controller called mecamim?
