My screen is splitted up by three cameras.
I want to have different fog settings (on/off, density, color...) per camera.
Fog is a global render setting, so do I have to change these global settings according to the current camera being rendered?

If yes, isn´t that a framekiller?

The project we're working on has 4 cameras on screen at once , some with fog , some without and to be honest , im not noticing a difference in frame rate (nothing thats flaggin me anyways).

So, you change the global fog settings 4 times per frame?

environment fog doesn't cost much; feel free to use it as much as you need to accomplish the look of your scene

Setting a variable like that 4 times per frame uses maybe .00000001% of the processing power available.
