A game about emergency services, where you will choose your role to play as police officer, firefighter or medic. Open world environment with random missions to respond to.
Single player and multiplayer gameplay is available that will have AI assistance that can be toggled on or off in online games.

    Link to Steam!

    Gameplay

When a role is chosen, you will pick a vehicle that only you can drive.
You must look after the vehicle's condition i.e. the gas, engine, tyres. You can also change cars and roles in the same game session.
If a car is broken down or lost, you have the ability to call a mechanic AI or other player for a lift to the depot to pick a new vehicle.
Successfully completing missions will grant you Respect Points for your town’s departments in the region, leading to the government funding new vehicles and gadgets.

Yeah good point, they are meant to be foam, but looks like water I guess… :D
At the moment it is more of a system test, visuals will change in time.

Also sorry if double posts are looked down on here but I see that a bunch of your buildings are just placeholder cubes. If you need any building models based on those found in American suburbs, I got you covered! Here's some of the stuff I made in that style.

Your buildings are looking nice, currently I am using cubes indeed, later I plan to test houses made from modular parts so I can use interiors.

AI traffic reacts to sirens and gives way to the correct side depending player's position.

Reduced speed on lights; give way on siren; stop on secondary siren; yield to speed signs on the map.

This concept is really nice and roads look amazing. Do you plan to support any air vehicles like helicopters? That would be fun to have air ambulance in a helicopter.

Do you plan on having more lanes than just two lane highway? I am thinking like a 12 lane freeway (6 lanes for each direction) type of environment.

What type of controllers are you supporting? Are you just supporting gamepads or are you supporting racing and other types of wheels?

    Hi, thanks!
Air units I have on my to-do list, but first I want to make most of the game’s features to work and then look at helicopters for rescue and police. One would be for player to control and also for AI backup and interaction.
Yes, not sure if I will include 12 lane type, but for now I have models with 4 lanes in each direction and I plan to use them, did not include them in the Test map yet.
I plan to get a plugin from Asset Store for this, that will cover most available controllers to work with the game, including wheels.

Sounds good. Would the player be able to switch between being a Pilot with AI pilot to handle the interaction? For example you fly the helicopter to the location as a player. Then for hovering you would let AI pilot handle that part and you could handle the interactive elements (e.g. lowering a litter/harness to pick up a patient).

Will all vehicles be single player only or will multiple players be able to be within a single vehicle?

That will be fun with 4 lanes in each direction. Do you plan on having multiple city like environments linked together by rural roads or just one main city location and the rest being open country type of setting?

I plan to get a plugin from Asset Store for this, that will cover most available controllers to work with the game, including wheels.[/QUOTE]

You should take a look at Rewired for controller handling if you have not already. Rewired also has a free trial version so you can do a proper evaluation of it before paying any money. It does have a very large selection of controllers supported and also it has Pro Flight Trainer (Puma) Helicopter controller support for those who want a more realistic feel for helicopter flight.

At this stage not sure how it will work with helicopters, I believe you will pilot and then do rescue actions while hovering on the spot. This will be from 3rd person view, an example could be GTA helicopter that can pick up cars, you control the flight and additional tool at the same time, but an animation with AI handling the wire with stretcher. For multiplayer I could divide these actions so you have an option to team up with other players for such missions.

Vehicles can be driven by it’s owner only, others can get in as passengers or if you role play bandits, they can be put in the back/cage.

There will be one medium size town and some small villages, all connected with highway and 2 lane asphalt/dirt roads giving variety of ways to flee and do chases or missions.

Yes indeed I have Rewired on my wish list. Did not try the free version yet, did not know it existed. :)

That ability to divide up actions makes it more appealing to allowing different roles for various players.

That should be really nice for both single and multi-player options.

That is the best way to do an evaluation of the asset before purchasing. I wish more unity assets had trial versions available. More information is found here:

There will be call outs to buildings too, at the moment I am testing everything around a vehicle, later will start missions with buildings involved for all roles - Police, EMS, Fire.

You may want to talk to someone from each of the three branches. For example, the "Jaws of Life" you represent are used to spread and not cut. You are actually showing the functionality of cutters. Also, for the EMS medical call, you don't run up and check their limbs. You go through the ABCs (airway, breathing, circulation) first. I happen to be a certified firefighter and EMT is why I point these out. ;)

Thanks a lot for your comment!

I completely understand I am not 100% accurate :) Not sure if it will be as I don’t plan it as hard core sim. But I am happy to hear feedback regards these details and look forward to adjust them to be more realistic.

A note that in these videos I tend to rush things to quickly show off features in limited time, so for EMS call, I could add ABC to the head or other sections.

I checked the Wiki before creating Jaws and there are spreaders and cutters, but also a combined ones, so decided to go for that one. I have an idea to include both separate tools and then the player could upgrade to combined one as he progress in the game, but first I need to understand how to prepare vehicle animations and functions regards the process.

    I really appreciate your insight!

the traffic stop test is really neat. really neat idea execution. starting from how it detects driver, going through the motions, ending in lettin him go. the nucleus of a scene that can go anywhere from there. universal and fit for the profession. maybe step out of the vehicle. but this UI style is cut out for this
    fake numbers. was that there?

    Hi, thanks!
Step out of the vehicle animation is not ready at the moment.
What fake numbers are you referring to? UI is there in the game and not put on top of the video, if that’s what you mean?

no :) I meant license plates. fake or stolen when police check

the UI is so good, you could sell. I think there's nothing like it in the store.

Thanks for the idea, stolen or fake number plates is a good idea, vehicles without number plates could be a rare case too :)

Looks really nice! Just curious , how did you make all the different human models? e.g. yourself in blender or similar?
