   I just downloaded the Everyplay asset and tried recording but it doesn't work. It doesn't even show the test buttons or the Android check-box. I'm lost

   Sounds there is something wrong with your project. Please remove Everyplay totally be deleting Editor/Everyplay and Plugins/Everyplay folder. Then make sure you don't have any compilation errors in your project. Then try to re-import latest Everyplay from the Asset Store.
