    Hi

I have created an account and gone to the page at: https://store.unity.com/download?ref=personal but the button for Windows (and Mac OSX) links to nothing and doesnt open anything. Am I missing something?

Tried with Chrome as well as Firefox, am on Kubuntu Linux.

    Regards and thanks
    John

It may be that the download page does some type of OS check to automatically deliver the appropriate version (Windows or Mac OS), and since you're on Linux, it's failing.

Try checking out this thread for the Ubuntu build of the IDE and see if that works for you.

Cheers, I did think that. I wanted to download the Windows version at work (Faster connection) take home and install.

Guess I will have to run the download at home, may take longer though but not the end of the world.

    cheers

Give the Unity download archive page a go. If you click the drop down for the platform you want it will present you with a list of different files. Entries you want are below the "Unity Installer" and are direct links to the download server.

Ignore the statement on the page about only having previous releases. Latest release is at the top.
