Forum for the Custom Quest - Quest System

Custom Quest, is a super customisable quest / mission / objective system for your RPG, RTS or any other genre. Build quests of any kind with our easy to use prefab based quest system.

Create quests for your game in the editor, relate your quests in the scene diagram and customize them further in our custom inspector and if that is not enough, convert the prefab and further customize your quest with a crisp new script.

Well, the quest systems market is kinda crowded right now: there are cheap solutions like S-Quest, and expensive ones like Quest System, All-In-One and Dialogue System. You will need to add extra functionality, anything extra, then I'm interested.

Lead Programmer of Custom Quest here.

Thank you for showing interest in our upcoming system!
What sets us apart from the other quest systems out there, is how easily it is applied to an already existing game. The entire system is build around using quests as prefabs, which means it is as easy to implement as creating a 3d cube.

The system is also called Custom Quest for a reason, it is highly customizable. You can, with a few clicks, make a quest behave in exactly the way you want. From making it a daylie quest, to making it so only one player, in a multiplayer game, can complete it. The choice is yours.

If somehow our premade functionallity is not enough, or maybe you just want this specific quest to change scene, or play a fanfare when its completed. The system is very easy to expand. With a click of a button, the quest generates a new script, where you can override every single method from the original quest script, and add your own thing.

It's a system for game developers, made by game developers.

A full list of all features will be visible when the asset hits the store.

Hope this answers your question :)

    Hey Txarly

Are you referring to a system that saves the players quest progress from one session to the next? If that is the case then sadly no Custom Quest does not have that functionality.

Each criterias progress is however called as an event so tracking the progress and saving it should be relatively simple.

No the system will still be available since we decided to make our quest system free to use for everyone, but the system also won't be supported or updated anymore. So you'll still be able to use it freely.
