[Solved] Collab stuck on loading...

    Every time I load my project and click on unity collab to upload my changes to my project, it always opens a grey box that says "Loading..." in the middle, and it stays like that for AGES and I can't upload my changes because of that. I have no idea how to resolve this issue. Please help!

    @Kajamaz I'm sorry to hear that! Can you go to this site and check if your latency is less than 300ms for your closest region?

    14 ms, its not a internet speed/latency issue for sure. I had this issue before but i'd restart unity and it would work. Now it never works.

    I'd like you to close Unity, delete your Packages folder, then reopen Unity. Here's how you can find your Packages folder:
    (Mac) <username>/Library/Unity/Packages
    (Windows) <username>/AppData/Roaming/Unity/Packages

    Let me know if your Collab Toolbar still isn't loading after doing that.

    What does packages contain in it? I have a lot of work done that I wouldn't want deleted before I upload.

    Don't worry, nothing work-related is stored there. They're javascript packages that the various services windows and Collab Toolbar read from in order to load. The latest version is supposed to be downloaded every time the Editor is opened but sometimes an older version is kept instead. So deleting the contents of the folder helps to ensure that it grabs the latest.

    It works, although idk if its because of the latest unity update. I'll see if it stays consistent.

    This worked for me too, thanks! I had some issues with conflicted files it seemed and collab just crashed, deleting the packages seems to have fixed it and was able to use collab again

    I'm having this issue in Unity 2017.3.1f1


    Originally it got stuck at 99%. I'm guessing due to latency but the cancel button was unresponsive.



    So I was forced to end the process in task manager. Now every time I open Unity. The pull window just stays blank.



    I've tried the suggestions in this thread but I've had no luck.

    What helped me was deleting this folder: (Mac) <username>/Library/Unity/Packages

    Same trouble for me. Deleting the packages folder has resolve my issue!

    The same here on mac, but i haven't <username>/Library/Unity/Packages

    Same here! Removing the folder did not solve the issue. Downloading stuck on 0% on all devices at our office.
    Maybe it is dead.

    I worked this morning to get the commit on my PC but my friend can't send her new commit on her mac now.
    We have tried to delete the folder "Packages" but it don't work.

    Same problem here, on 3 PC (windows 10). Another team have the same issue too.

    Collab has been spotty for me as well today. I'm guessing something's up.

    Our team is having issues as well, we cannot publish anything, and "downloading" updates gets stuck at 0% indefinitely.

    It seems that the Collab team is located in Seattle so we probably need to wait for them to wake up and fix it :(

    I neither have a working collab. I have tried removing the "Packages" folder and thereafter restarted the PC, but this did not work. I assume this is a collab update which caused this? Any other solutions?

    i deleted the packages and also opened a new project and linked it so maybe i could download from a fresh start... didnt help

    Same issue here.Uploading goes to 100% but doesn't finalize the last steps. Also when trying to update (commits from yesterday) ... 0%

    I've just received a reply to my support ticket that confirms the issue. Unity knows about it and is working to fix the issue.

    glad I found this thread. I've trying a lot of stuff, then noticed posts of today all mentioning the collab problem. It's a waiting game now :)

    This is extremely frustrating compared to other version control systems. The convenience of in editor is great but so far in the last month I have had to trash and redownload the project from collab. Following any other suggestions about package cleanup or deleting parts of the library etc have not helped.

    Seriously UNity, It's a bit cheeky to be charging for a product that (according to a lot of comments) works only part of the time.

    Is it down again? I'm having the same problem. Stuck at an empty Collab toolbar.
    Opening collab in the services tab gives me "Action failed. The requested resource could not be found".

    Did you try deleting the packages as said above? It has only happened to me once thankfully, and when it did doing that fixed it

    Hope you can find a solution soon

    Yeah I did. I also tried signing out, signing in and unlinking/linking project. Nothing worked.

    same issue happening with me now, all the 5 members of team are getting the same problem, deleting the folder doesn't solve the issue. please help

    Same, my collab-box bar goes almost all the way to the right and then stops, tried all suggestions in the tread too and nothing works yet. Might just be the Cloud Content Delivery server being down causing the issue.

    Same issue here, I deleted and reinstalled my project after deleting manifest.json and the problem still persists.
