    Hello all,

i was wondering if someone found a solution to hide geometry behind a transparent object?

I found quite a few ideas with clipping planes, but every example seems to be outdated and do not work.
Is there something integrated into unity already?

I actually thought this would be a part of a normal toolset.

    example:
    I have a transparent cube.
Every geometry that happens to get behind the cube will be cut (transparent).

The idea with "masking" and "render queues" sound quite promising!

    Any idea?

    cheers
