The best one I know of is Edy's Vehicle Physics. If you want to make a racing game, this package has 90% of the hard work done for you. (Not to say the rest is easy — if you're a beginner, please be sure to do a few Flappy Bird and Doodle Jump level games first!)
That's missing the point. Building 2D games in GameMaker won't help you learn what you need to make (3d or otherwise) games in Unity. You want to make games in Unity, you need to learn how. Doing a Flappy Bird or Doodle Jump game is how you learn. If it makes you feel better, you could do a 3D Flappy Bird or Doodle Jump clone. But there's really very little difference between 2D and 3D in Unity, so it doesn't much matter.
