I want to make an animation curve with really drastic and fast changes. The problem is, that I can only insert a key for every second, not in between. Is there any way to add a key more accurately, without it snapping to every second? I already tried right clicking and setting its time to something with decimals, but that doesn't do anything. I know I can just increase the animation's speed, but I find that more tedious, and not accurate enough.
Yes, right click a knot and change the type. https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/EditingCurves.html If this isn't enough control, raise the framerate of the animation so you have more samples to work with. Just basically, read the manual.
I read the whole manual page and I'm still not sure how exactly to change the type. Do you mean stuff like "Broken", "Flat", "Clamped Auto", etc? I tried changing those, but it's not doing anything other than manipulating how the curves behave. I increased the samples, but I need more precision than that. I also forgot to mention, the animation isn't for an physical object. I don't know if that makes a difference though.
