Blocking "remote" employees

Hi,

I've recently posted a job on Unity connect. The job is not meant for remote employees, so we'd like to attract only local talent at the moment.

All applications i've received are from people who live abroad. Is there any way to block this kind of applications? these are not people we can consider for the job at the moment.

 

There is a "Remote" toggle or tag or somesuch - not sure what it exactly is anymore - which should identify your posting as remote or local-only.

I agree there should be a clearer distinction on that specifically. When making a posting it should be a dropdown for ..

• Local
• Remote
• Both

You should not be able to apply if your locality isn't within x distance of the indicated region.

 

I did use that toggle. i did not mark the job as "remote OK". but i still got many applications from people who are remotely located.
