Most of my projects have targeted the desktop so have always used Precomputed GI. But now I am targeting mobile and am not sure which to use
    1- Baked GI
    or
    2- No GI at all

My understanding is that enabling Baked GI adds no additional performance cost and because you are generating additional Light Map data, should look better than with GI disabled entirely.

Yet, in some demos I have seen, such as the Car Paint Pro shaders package, the demos all have NO GI enabled, and they look fantastic!

So can any GI experts clarify, when would or should you opt for NO GI in your projects?

"better" is very subjective. Maybe you have the kind of art style in mind that doesn't work well with GI?

Too many unknown variables to be able to answer this.
