    Hello.

I mentor a 19 year old with austism who has the most brilliant mind. He is a keen gamer and writes stories for games for fun in his own time. He would love to work in this industry and I am mentoring him to help him get into paid work. Please could you let me know if Unity offer work experience or apprenticeships?

    Thank you

Why not get him in to learning to use Unity for work experience? Learning programming for Unity isn't too difficult and the mind required for it can be developed if it doesn't already exist. A couple of projects (regardless of project scope, it could be a Cookie Clicker or a two year project) looks good on a resume.

Thank you so much. So you mean for him just to learn by doing it on here. Or have unity got learning programmes? Sorry I haven't a clue what I'm talking about x

Yes. If you go to the main page and look under "learn" there are loads of tutorials and documentation to learn from. If he ever needs help he can ask for it here on the boards or the "answers" area. Just put it in the right section ;D

Here's a link to the "learn" area and the "answers" area:

Its a shame more people don't reply to threads like this... I think many of us just interact with threads which seem interesting. I almost didn't reply but I'm autistic (to an extent) so I understand completely.
