This is awesome!!!!! I do think that you should add more mammals though. And more temperate animals in general : Bear, Fox, Deer, etc.

    hi

I am interested in buying your asset. But first I would like to know if the animations that carry other models can be used in different models to your asset

    regards

    Hi,
Thank you for having interest in All JS Animals pack.
Animations can not be used to other model.
Because each model have a different rig.(except African spurred toortoise and Red footed tortoise.)
But lizards, turtles, and terrestrial mammals have humanoid rig plus extra bones.
Hence If you backup and reimport animations and models as humanoid, animations can be shared.
But spine, neck, finger bone's count and extra bones are different.
    It may become unnatural.
Hence basically each model can not be used to other model's animations.

That's great! Will those be added to the all animals pack also?
If so, how much will it cost to upgrade?

Of course, these will be added to All JS Animals pack and it doesn't cost to update.
It is same to other animals that will be added in the future.
    Package price will be increased.
But that doesn't cost to update any money if you already purchased.
Hence if someone will buy this someday, it is best profitable to buy now.

Have you contacted Unity support? My internet is just 1mbs and I was able to download the most recent version with the new deer models. I downloaded it fine last week. Don't use the computer while it's downloading, and make sure nothing else is using your internet connection while it's downloading.

The new deers are excellent by the way! This pack just gets better and better ;)

I deleted the local folder asset and re-downloaded it to reproduce the same situation as you.
It was completed in about 20 minutes.

The following is a remedy in general when the download fails.
You may need to delete the file from the asset folder and re download it.

This will not be a problem with this asset.
    Here is a general remedy.
Back up these files, delete them, and try downloading again.
    Mac
    ~/Library/Unity/Asset Store-5.x/Junnichi Suko/3D ModelsCharactersAnimals/All JS Animals pack.unitypackage
    Windows

Do you have any type of roadmap? I saw on your blog that a harpy and shark appear to be next. Your models and animations are excellent, but it would be nice to have an idea of your next models coming up so we do not have to buy from other places.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.
    My plan is the following.
    1. Shark, 2. Gorilla, 3. Bear, 4. Earless seal, 5. Crocodile, 6. Dipodidae
It is scheduled to be added at about one or two pace per month.
The price will be increased about 5 dollars each time add new model.
    Harpy eagle was already added.
Blog's Harpy eagle video is Unreal engine version.
    The order may change.
I will write the latest plan in my profile page:
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/search/page=1/sortby=popularity/query=publisher:13727
Edit:The pace will be a little faster.
Two or three models will be added per month.
The price will be increased about 5-15 dollars per month.

    Hi Junnichi,..

Thank you for this amazing pack!! I am so happy I jumped in and bought the whole pack, especially because the additions keep coming ;) But also because it is so high quality... Thx

A small wish: How about modelling the fastest (and most graceful) animal in the world: The Peregrine Falcon :)
Apart from the falcon itself, it could easily be changed to almost all other falcons, since they are not so different in both body and flight patterns... only plumage... No hurry. Just a heads up from a happy customer :D

Yes I'd be interested in the Peregrine Falcon as well! I was thinking that when I was re-watching the Life of Birds by David Attenborough. And some more tortoises :) And I have to agree with you, no other pack I have gets as many updates as this one, new animals every month! Not just that but I like the fact the older animals receive updates and corrections as well, I noticed a swimming animation got added to the Komodo Dragon and a new LOD for the Gecko, among other corrections and updates. Looking forward to the Satanic Leaf Gecko as well. Just a pity I don't get chance to use Unity much these days, would love to create living environments for all these animals.

Yes, please!! I would love a falcon! We could use ICE AI to actually make it a trained falcon. :) Would be fun.

P.S. We have your full pack and love it.

    Hi broesby,
    I'm glad you liked it.
I want to try modeling Peregrine Falcon.
However, it is planned to modeling some animals of Africa, so it may be afterwards.
Now I am gathering materials and understanding the features of Peregrine Falcon.

I am looking forward to seeing the new game you make.
It is much more realistic than the demonstration scene I make, so I want people who are interested in this pack to see it.

One of the big advantages of your pack and what you have on the asset store is that most of the animals cannot be found in other packs... they are uncommon animals like the kodo dragon and that small mammal etc. I just want to encourage you to keeping mixing some of those rare animals while doing your common animals.

And since we are doing wishlists: beaver, raccoon, skunk. ferret

Yes definitely agree with you on that, that's what first attracted me to Suko's animals. The Alligator Snapping Turtle is perhaps my favourite, high-poly, great attention to detail and two great textures. Looking forward to the Dipodidae as well. Small monkeys would be good as well, especially now that ICE creature control supports climbing, or at least it's in the works.

Yep! According to Tonanbora, it still needs some work but it is in there. We are hopeful Pit will refine it in the next few updates. :)

    Thank you for your suggestion.
I will add both uncommon and common animals as much as possible.
Since there is an efficient order to branch the project to make as many animal as possible, relatively uncommon animals may be added in the next update.
Next I plan to add common animal.
Also Beaver may be added future update.

Can earless seal be bought as a separate package? I couldn't find it from your store page, only in this big bundle.

Separate package of Earless seal is now pending review.
This was submitted on 25th February.
It takes up to about three weeks for review.
So hopefully it will be released in mid-March.

Thought I'd share this image of the Junnichi's new Giraffe he just added (along with a Rhino and countless corrections/improvements on his previous models). Excellent quality and animations as usual, though just missing a drink/eat from the ground animation. Apart from that, perfect!

    Thank you for the inquiry.
It is described on the description page of each asset.
    For example, for Black Rhinoceros:
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/88454
It Includes a low poly model(RhinoModelLowPoly.FBX) consisting of 3498 triangles and a middle poly model(RhinoModelMiddlePoly.FBX) consisting of 14860 triangles.
RhinoModelTwoLODs.FBX includes low and middle poly meshes.
Most assets include a low poly model consisting of 2000 to 6000 triangles and a middle poly model consisting of 10000 to 25000 polygons.
There are exceptions like shrimp and crocodile. These are made up of more triangles.(CrocodileModelMiddlePoly consists of 43980tris. What is written as BearMiddlePoly in description page is a mistake of CrocodileModelMiddlePoly.)
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/53162
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/84028
Some assets only have low poly models like hummingbirds and frog and skeleton.
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/49235
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/37777
(The number of polygons of the frog was not written in description page. FrogSkin:1690tris, FrogSkeleton:3130tris)

    Greetings!
Your animal pack is amazing! Very unique selections yet useful and feature rich!
I'm wondering where can I find a roadmap or something that can show your plans of new animals or fixes of the existed ones? Really like to see what will come next :)
And is there an update info for every update? This pack is huge, not easy to see what is changed instantly.

I am glad you liked it.
    Thank you for your question.
Announce of the plan had made it difficult to change the plan, so I avoided it.
However, I will describe the plan at the moment below.
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/search/page=1/sortby=popularity/query=publisher:13727
    This is likely to change.

Changes of the latest version can be seen by clicking the version number of the description page.
    https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/64924

Edit 24/July/2017:I will record the version history below.
    http://quantummechanics.sakura.ne.jp/UnityDemo/VersionHistoryOfCompleteAnimals.txt
The published time of each model is written on Twitter.

    Thank you for your question.
Some assets's(e.g. Harpy eagle, Secretary bird,...) animation cannot be imported to Unreal Engine.

There are assets that need to change the scale in the import settings for root motion.
The followings are the uniform scale of the import setting of UE4.

    Ostrich:0.3937...(=1/2.54)
    Cassowary:0.3937...
    Maned Wolf:1
    Capybara:1
    Wildbeest:1

Green channel of Normal map texture of some assets(r.g. Komodo dragon) should be flipped.

I apologize for the delay in replying to you.
Regarding the usage of asset other than making games in Unity, it is left to the discretion of each publisher.
In my case, I allow to use my assets for production in Unreal engine regardless of commercial or non-commercial use.
However, please do not use it to create assets to be sold at UE4 marketplace.

I really love this asset, but I have one suggestion. I would love another deer model, this time of some common American deer (a white-tailed deer or elk for example), as red deer are only Eurasian. But that's just a suggestion. Thank you!

    Thank you for your suggestion.
I was planning to make another type of deer(Moose, Irish elk etc.).
The timing is undecided, but if they can share the skeleton I will make it and it will be added to this pack.

Hey! :) how to get around that asset store file size is max 4 gb? would you it be splitting in to two parts?

    Reply of unity support:
    Hello Daniel,

Thank you for getting in touch

Actually there's a size limit, which is 4GB, however, we do encourage our developer partners to keep it under 2GB to prevent any kind of package loss.

    Best Regards,
