    Small update:

There has been a slight delay in getting the package onto the Asset Store.
Two minor changes had to be made in order for the package to be approved.

So hopefully, it should be up in a few days.

Also just as a side note, animation is not supported at this time.
I'll be updating the asset page shortly.

I've purchased it before a few hours. And have a few questions already. Honestly i feel a bit angry.

First, the importer just imports DAE and OBJ at the moment.

So where is the promised rest of the formats? The list is a bit longer than just dae and obj. There's a difference between 35 and 2. Especially because this two formats can be imported into Unity without the help of the importer anyways. And with texture.

Which leads me to point two. Why doesn't it import the textures? Textures are part of import too.

    Thanks for answering my mail.

So the first issue is solved. You can import all mentioned file formats by simply choosing them. It just converts the result to dae or obj then so that Unity can read it. Maybe a thing to change in the manual and the description. It really confused me.

Still, the texture issue stays. The models all arrives without textures. A minor flaw since you can reassign them manually, but a flaw. And nowhere mentioned.

Just as a reassurance to anyone who might be reading this.

    1. Advanced Importer does import all advertised mesh formats.
There was just a little bit of confusion over this.

    2. The issue with the textures not importing automatically will be fixed in the next update.

If there is anything you wish to know before purchasing Advanced Importer, don't hesitate to ask.

If you have purchased Advanced Importer and you are not happy with the product, please let me know. I will do everything I can to make things right.

Amazing :D Is there runtime support? If so I'll definitely buy and recommend.

I am so sorry for the late reply. I have been busy with my final uni assignment, and I didn't realize how long it had been since I last logged in.

Sadly, there is no runtime support, as it still uses Unity's standard importer after the conversion process.

Ah I see. :) Still a great asset store package! Have you considered writing a runtime importer package?

I have. It has been fairly highly requested.
If all goes well, I should be starting on that today.

Damn, it's so sad that this project has been abandoned. HDR is just coming into play...
