[Closed] 90% of Purchases failing on iOS since upgrading to Unity IAP system

    Hello,

    We have a live app on the App Store that we recently updated from using prime31's IAP plug-in to Unity's own IAP system. Ever since doing so, our revenues tanked massively. Upon further inspection in the Unity analytics dashboard, we noticed that more than 90% of purchases are failing due to either "Reason - Unknown" or "Reason - Purchasing Unavailable". We also started getting support emails from users not being able to make purchases.

    We were unable to replicate the issue at our end. Both the store versions and the sandbox environment works flawlessly (we tried making real purchases from multiple locations), and small amount of users purchases are pulling through. So it seems the issue is affecting some but not all users. We spent more than month debugging but with no results.

    Any help would be appreciated, it's kinda urgent because this has jeopardized the entire business.

    Does the above graph look normal? For each 10 sales we have about 100 failed purchases due to Unknown reasons

    It's worth noting that we offer one non-consumable purchase of 39.99$ (Lifetime membership), and monthly auto-renewable subscription for 7.99$

    @MassiveTchnologies,

    Are you seeing a dropoff in revenue as reporting from iTunes Connect and Google Play Developer Console? Or are you just seeing a dropoff in revenue reported through Unity Analytics?

    Without a device log or a reproducible case, it is difficult to diagnose this issue.

    When you updated to Unity IAP, did you complete all the steps suggested here:

    It looks like you also opened a support ticket, would you be able to provide a link to your game in that support ticket?
