    Hi!

Since updating from 5.6.0xf3 to 5.6.1xf1, the preview panel (in which materials and models can be previewed when selected) has a black background and doesn't clear said background anymore before drawing a new frame.

Alpha blended materials become extremely bright and models leave ugly smears. The framebuffer seems to be still cleared sporadically when a) the whole Unity window is refreshed and b) I keep holding the left mouse button to turn the model but hold the mouse still for 1-2 seconds.

It's as if clearing the background is not part of the normal drawing process but rather done during idle frames are something like that.

Gentoo Linux, Kernel 4.9.16, KDE 5, GTX 1080 with NVidia drivers 381.22.

Same here on a Windows with a Nvidia GTX 970 card. Does anyone know if it's been fixed in the latest patch?

same here, unity 5.6.1f1, also on a GTX 970, latest driver on windows.
the preview dont clear the depth buffer, only "sometimes" when it receive a mouse down/up event, look like a missing event when dragging...
fyi rolling back to 5.6.0f3 fixed the issue.

@WashingMachine The patch release is not available for Linux, or is it?
