2D tile recommendations?

    Hey folks,
    I'm hoping for a plugin recommendation. I'm looking for a very simple 2D tile map plugin for Unity that handles performance with large maps well. It really doesn't need any extra bells and whistles. (This is for a retro-pixelated style game.)

    I've tried 2D Toolkit, but find that it feels a little cumbersome with a ton of extra 2D features I don't need.

    Does anyone know anything that might fit the bill?
