For some reason, I have a ton of cached *.bin files now. I'd think far more than I should have. Can I simply delete the contents of the ShaderCache folder without messing anything up? It's causing project backups to go very slowly, chugging through all those tiny files.

I also noticed that I have 2 GB of files under Library\metadata. That doesn't seem right either.

Thank you Georges for that link.
I needed to copy my 12GB project in another machine and it would have taken 7 hours to copy only my entire ShaderCache folder with 365448 files. I couldn't wait that long mostly because I was in a rush.
    You literally save my project.
