Guys,
Just wanted to flag up that the issue some of you have faced with Apple rejecting your apps is resolved. We have version 1.5.1 ready to be released and this removes the two APIs that Apple have got more strict about.
Regards,

Oh, this is good news. I tweaked some stuff while waiting, but would rather have my app on the store and these tweaks in 1.1! Either way, I am happy to hear that this has been resolved.
Despite the hard time I am giving you, good support is one reason why I like UT. |

It is excellent news that Unity have fixed this problem, because we were also just afflicted with this bug.

Great to know that is solved,
But one our important app is waiting for approval and it was builded with 1.5.0
The Big Problem is that we have a national tv presentation of that app in next days.
What do you suggest?
wait for a approval or are you sure we will be rejected?

I would recommend waiting, though I'm not anyone official. Whatever Apple is scanning for is catching everyone. I doubt if you submitted now, before the fix, Apple would miss it. Your app wouldn't likely even enter the review process before the fix came out, so at that point you could resubmit (and go to the bottom of the queue) with the fixed version, or wait for the likely rejection.
As for the demonstration, though it probably isn't desirable, you could do an adhoc distribution for demonstrative purposes. Apple doesn't have anything approval system for those at all, but you won't be in the App store. _________________ Nick Breslin, Tempest

Thank you for suggestion.
We have already several Ad hoc devices running the app.
The problem is that if we will have national tv presentation without the app available on the store we will miss a very important opportunity.
I hope Apple will not reject the app! _________________ Unity Pro + iPhone Advanced + Asset Server

Yes, people, that's awfully painful to hear. Now we're working days and nights to polish next Unity iPhone release until it is shippable. The plan is to release RC2 today and final version next week. That's the optimal path, no one knows what will really happen.
Everyone eager to get their hands on pre-release version should mail me directly at oleg@unity3d.com
Now I have a queue of RC1 requests, but I feel it is better to answer people in 6 hours with links to RC2 rather then immediately but with links to RC1. |

| It's now "Next Week"... is that 1.5.1 update coming soon? I just got rejected myself on this problem. So I'm a little anxious to resubmit. |

hello,
what code is using these 2 API ? What we should avoid in order to don't be rejected by the appstore during time 1.5.1 is not release ?? _________________ Unity Pro
