Xbox One controller Windows 10 bug

We've just launched our product on Steam and we're getting issues from many users who are using an Xbox One pad on Windows 10

The left analogue stick constantly returns -1 in the horizontal axis. Installing these drivers seems to fix this, but that's hardly an ideal solution:

32 Bit Drivers

This bug has been reported ever since the xbox one controller released, has any progress been made on a fix?

To reproduce (If you already have the drivers):

-Connect xbox one controller
-Uninstall drivers from device manager
-Unplug controller and restart
-Plug controller back in to install drivers fresh
-Launch any unity title that uses default input control

 

This is still an issue.

I think this was fixed in latest patch release..
