[WIP] Usim: SEA module dev video.

    Just wanted to post a video on the work being done for the Usim. Sea module.

    Usim is a Vehicle simulation framework for Unity editor wich is under development.

    The flight simulation module has been realeased and available at the Asset Store

    SEA module will include

    • buoyancy script. Includes displacement and drag
    • Hidrofoil simulation. Allows simulation of ships hidrodinamics and control surfaces such as rudder
    • Ship control script.
    • Sumergible vassels support
    • Aircraft carrier support.
    • and more...

    Will work with any ocean as long as you can sample height at location.

    Looking great, looking forward to this. Will you have bow waxes as well as wakes in release.

    It will have some visual effects based in particles. I'm not shader programmer and wich ocean to use is up to the costumer as long as it allows sample height at location.

    what about torpedos and cannons? or phalanx systems? can think of good integrators?

    For now the framework will not include weapons of any kind. The first goal is to make the air, sea and land simulation modules. After that i have to review the hole code and make sure i apply the right design pattern so i can keep adding stuff to the framework in a way that can keep things consistent and understandable specially for the costumers. It can be a long time before i add weapons of any kind.
    Anyway you can easily integrate any weapon system that you want. I don't see how simulation could interfiere.
