    Thanks!

We will release an asset pack containing most of the assets i currently use to build the map in order to help funding the project.

Here is a video of showing the assets in another scene, sorry for the "lag" in the video we will make sure to correct that next time :)

I am the teams Rigger/Animator & am super happy to share with you a WIP walk cycle for our big bad first boss! I must mention everything is work in progress and is subject to change but it gives you a good idea of what he may be like! I hope you enjoy watching this or any other animation I post evolve in game.

hi zenGarden, thank you for your kind comments! I am the official project lead of "Obelisk", the turn-based game we're creating. I modeled all the environment assets while another teammate named Leo textured them, it'll be available on the Unity Asset Store in the next few days(hopefully......)! :)

Hey, here is another screenshot, doing lots of testing with particles and visual FX trying to make the scene more alive. It's much better in video but here it is for now :)

The target for moment is PC/Mac, we could look in other platforms if there is possibilities.
Price as not been decided yet, it's too early to say :)

    Hey everyone,

Here is what I have worked on today, I had some rig issues getting it into engine but here we have the first couple of animations for our first boss Mudashi, I cannot wait to add more and begin his attacks. I must note that all lighting, shaders, textures and environment are work in progress, I have just chosen this test scene to showcase any animation until we do more work behind the scenes on the battle system. Until then this scene will be used for me to show any WIP for animations.

Feedback directed towards animation should be directed to me and I will happily take constructive criticism to better improve!

Looks really nice! I don't have anything to criticize you on, well, first because I have just started to do rigged animations, and second it just looks really good. Once you guys have enough to show with the attack system, you should post a video of someone fighting the boss.

Once we are at that stage we may have just that, or we may leave it for a playable demo who knows, nothing is confirmed yet and is is still very much in the air, all I can do is keep this post updated with animations as I do them. Glad you are keeping an eye on this project!

Great work Rob on the animation! Make sure you guys keep checking back with this thread for more updates, we're about to release a Steam Greenlight and could use YOUR help with helping us get Greenlit! All it takes is a simple "Yes" to "Is this a game you'd play?"!

Hey there everyone, back with a new WIP animation for our boss, a heal anim. Sorry for the lack of content, the team are hard at work to ensure this greenlight goes off without any hitches which requires a lot of planning and behind the scenes work. Until then we hope you keep your eyes on this project!

This looks really good! It has a WOW feel but more cartoonish, hopefully we'll have more details on the combat system soon... Im a fan of old-school rpgs like final fantasy and I will most likely enjoy a turn-based RPG with nice graphics... unless it sucks :/

    Much love from Finland!

The model/texture assets are very well done.
I think the secondary animations do a good job of selling the weight of the character. Nice work.
The only critique I can give is on the animations. The gauntlets hooked pieces near the elbow are distracting simply because they stick out a little too far and intersect at times with the underlying mesh. You may consider editing that piece so it is less pronounced and less of a problem area - as more of the animation set gets completed.
