    Hi everyone,

Halloween Nights is a first person tower defence game with "horror" elements. I say "horror" as it is designed to put the player on edge, however I am using a cartoony art style, not so different from older games such as Medievil.

The game puts the player in the shoes of a Mad Scientist who's experiments have escaped and are now trying to hunt him down during the night. Your only tools are to build turrets and other kinds of traps to stop them. Nights are dark and creepy with your flashlight and glow sticks being your best friends. This game differs from many other first and third person tower defence games I have seen as you are the target being hunted, not a castle or dungeon heart.

    Noteworthy Features:

    - Many different defences, allowing for different strategies

    - Different level styles, from defending against swarms to hunting enemies down and setting traps.

    - Creepy yet light hearted theme

This game is being developed only by myself with some art now starting to be outsourced. As I am not an artist much of what you will see in the video below are paid assets from the Unity Asset Store. This is the first game I have developed in Unity and from initial concepts and originally starting development in a program called DarkBasic I am now about one and a half years in.

I will continue to update this thread with more clips/pictures and webplay demo soon. Website is currently in development, for now I am using my facebook and twitter:

Note: Still some placeholder graphics, particularly with the UI. Mouse and keyboard controls only. There will be bugs in there, if anyone picks anything up please tell me so I can fix it. If anyone has any issues running it please let me know.
